Gosford Place

The site has undergone various alterations which reflect economic and political changes in Northern Ireland. The plot now occupied by a 1969 concrete framed building once formed part of a garden complex associated with the Presbyterian Church following a speculative city centre development was aborted.

The PRONI documents give a hint of a bank foreclosure, on Mr McKinstry, on a prestigious residential development that was never fully realised. The B2 listed Georgian building that has dual aspect onto the Mall and Russell Street forms part of the site and provides a total floor area of 20,000 sqft which is to be converted into a mixture of classical and contemporary apartment living in the heart of Armagh.
